This is a compilation of poems written during the pandemic after an almost fatal motorcycle accident in June 2021. Then an unfortunate pit stop in federal prison for possession of a firearm, which was indeed painfully thought-provoking. I come to a rational conclusion that when I thought I had it all figured out, I honestly didn't have a clue. My perception got clearer after the experience I went through, so I decided to take my readers with me from a poetic point of view, while purpose is pursued

In Book Three of the West Virginia Chronicles, Junard's vision has not diminished. His creativity has sharpened and deepened while he grows within his affliction. Dealing with issues such as personal relationships with women, friends, and his children from prison isn't a given. Yet the pen keeps calling, so he has no choice but to listen and answer the call. He was told, stay strong and move along, don't fold. Even in the pits of wickedness, he will not forget he has a soul.

Incarcerated still in the recent aftermath of COVID, the whole world is starting back to learn how to adjust to the norms of everyday living, not just Junard. This is his second installment of the West Virginia chronicles, and he is not even halfway through his federal sentence. Yet, he is still writing, he is still growing with the pen. However, one thing is clear; the plague is no longer here. Junard is being extremely passionate about his poems to make it through this time to persevere.
